I have to get another hen with 7 chicks about 2 weeks old to fly from table to table in front of a crowd by Saturday. They are not supposed to fly up on people, nor is their mother. Another hen does that too much then the whole brood comes up. Some folks not used to chickens are not good with that.

good luck. I cant get mine back into their cages hardly, even though they want back in.

It it easy to do using insect treats. It is not easy to keep daughter from helping too much.

Damn. Isolate him gently from other birds so they do not get inclination to peck at it. Yes, a little too much taking but it will scar over. I do not like dubbing when hot as process is very stressful on the birds.

Why did you decide to dub him? Your posting history is not consistent with one into games or showing them.

Yeah I live in central Texas so yeah it is pretty hot also it was my first time dubbing a regular size game fowl I've dubbed OEGBs before much smaller and easier to handle he was definitely stressed and pecked the bleep out of my hand which probably caused me to cut off too much. He is blue asil

Yeah I got in to chicken with bantams including OEGBs because of their size as I was renting in a "normal" house but always liked Games when I moved into a house of the outskirts of town into a more "country" home I was able to keep more chickens including roosters

I would get help dubbing in the future and wait till late fall.

He is Blue with asil and I keep him with my other hens layers and 2 game a pumpkin and a hatch/claret and I dubbed him because I wannt him to be a show bird later on
