Your interesting. Always trying to reinvent the wheel. “Look at me I have a tame chicken”. I’m not sure if your aware or not but that’s been going on for a long time.
You haven’t clarified what you mean by “pet shop”. I’m a little confused. Last I heard you were shopping around Craigslist and came back with some strange gray/white toppie/crested mutt.

Got pullets from a genuine gamefowl keeper at a exchange. You are confusing attempted sale of color bird (the dom) like you collect with the pullets. And make decisions based on erroneous info.

I like the products the pullets produced, don't you?

When do you think Tyson will be ready to have hens around him?I have a ton of Young’s pullets and old ladies who I wouldn’t mind putting him with,of course in his cage, but need to know when the best time would be,I tiried google but couldn’t find much, and assuming since these birds are the “Real Deal” I should approach this a bit different.

I mix and match any time of year, but also know what to look for if things likely to go wrong. I would pick a single mature hen that is in lay and introduce her. Be ready to pull her in the invent he starts running her around pen to point of exhaustion or he starts flogging her.

Ok,so should I wait till he is more accommodated here,or could I try a mature hen today?

I’m with my chickens twenty four seven btw hen I have nothing to do,which I don’t for the next week.
