Dog. Coyote usually only the front two toe nails really show. Red fox tracks in mud like that are obviously smaller and they have a bar that shows up in mud. Gray fox look just like a cat track. Hard to tell the difference between the two.
Dogs are usually heavier and all nails show. You don’t have wolves so I say dog. That really sucks.

How do you have them staked down? Seems like the wind might be an issue. I have a lot of wind here and those pens would blow the hell away here.

No stakes just tied to a heavy rebar cross at the base.

Wow, do you move them with a loader? They look really good and I see you have been building pens pretty fast for all of you stags!

I put a trail cam out by the pens this morning hoping that whatever it was comes back. Birds get to stay inside today! The closest neighbors have big dogs so I am thinking it may be a small houndish looking dog that has been around a few times.
