Bellied up to salad bar for duckweed. They really like the duckweed.

This is one of guys I had to pen this morning. He was taking in all the hens and talking smack to a penned cock.
Never had one colored like this guy. Every thing that appears black in picture shines green to purple in my eyes. Also has funky colored hackle feathers coming in. Sides of head looking almost grey. I will keep him through spring just to see what he looks like.
Six of this guys full brothers and a couple sisters all go out this weekend. He stays.
