That’s my only point. Not whether or not some people like or dislike mean roosters. You would be a total idiot to keep birds that you can’t handle at all. Can't argue that much lol. Same as taking a hen out befor you take the rooster out, you can expect a fight
Yea. He is one of the black biddies. Some come black, others a chocolate brown, and others a chipmunk color. The black ones stay black and get red/ orange in there hackle and saddle feathers. The chocolate brown ones are the darker side. And the chipmunk colored ones stay light. Dosent differ stag or pullet for any colorwell he looks like a black/brown red Did you say he was different than the rest?
DLMI'll clean up around the place (leaves, twigs, bark, etc) gather everything up and put it in the larger breeding pens. I don't clean it out I just throw it over the old stuff, but i will clean them out once everyone is done molting and put some fresh stuff in there. I'll throw grass clippings in too lol
That picture was staged! His shoes are too clean... lol, Nice pic though!
At the time those were his “school” shoes. He don’t listen too well. Can’t imagine why. That picture was staged! His shoes are too clean... lol, Nice pic though!
The brown and the black chicks are not going to be colored up as red quill. Only the two with chipmunkish stripes and doodles on chicks will exhibit the proper red quill color pattern. Hen carries an allele I lost when my birds lost ability to throw red quill.Yea. He is one of the black biddies. Some come black, others a chocolate brown, and others a chipmunk color.
