nope I let it run its course each year on the young ones so they immune for life and have never lost one.

I know of one breeder that does that and if the breakout is bad he uses a whitening toothpaste with peroxide to control it. I guess it's a thing, I just stickem as I hate to see the breakout.

I actually like to see it cause I know in a couple weeks it's over and all's good for life. I don't use nothing just let it ride

I read that dark legged birds have a little higher than norm resistance. While dark skinned birds are **** near immune.

I was confident of that, when I had birds in Florida it was a real problem. Had to do it and early before they even see the outdoors.
