Show off your Delawares! *PIC HEAVY*

Thank you, Cynthia I am glad to know that. I will take back the Poly-visol then. It has iron and everyone is healthy so no need. I had read a few posts on BYC where people were giving it to their birds and thought that it might give everyone a good boost.
I guess the saying "if it's not broke don't fix it" applies here.

Tomorrow they will be 4 weeks old. I think I have a good split between roos and pullets but it is still to early to tell on a few. One I thought was a Roo is a pullet. She has alot of color and is one of the biggest birds.

I love the Flag! It's a shame you can't use VCDL as the slogan, because that would leave some of the tallers out.

"Under Delawares We Stand"....no that would be messy......

Tell me where is the Delaware mind control transmitter hidden in that flag?

Rusty, I do use a vitamin and electrolyte mix that I buy at the TSC. It comes in a yellow bag and it costs about $9. However you only use about 3/4 of a tsp to make up a gallon of vitamin water. I use it about 3 days after chicks are born for 3 days only. Then again only if something is wrong, or someone looks off. You give it 3 days on, 3 days off for a sick bird or 3 days on 2 weeks off for a healthy bird.

Delgirl- it's your thread- wanna run a "poll" for the slogan?

The mindcontol device is invisible. . . . .

I would love a delaware! they are so sweet, from what i've heard. Anyone have any in the tucson arizona area?

rustyswoman, it looks like the move will be Spring. I am going to miss my mountains here...the mountain lions and such.

Joletabey, the property we are looking at is less than 30 miles north of Lexington, a little over an hours drive to Cincinnati

By the way...I love the flag and COD. I have got to put that in my siggy.

Kathyinmo Paducah, KY is 4 - 5 hours southwest from where we are looking at. It is right near the southwestern border of KY/MO. The area we are looking at is north of Lexington. But company would be welcome.

Yes, I have read those posts too....I try to catch them to tell them NO IRON but I miss them too. *shaking head* I need to look up my info on iron again but it can be fatal to them. So why take the chance?

Cetawin, how are you going to transport your chickens? It is going to be nice there in Kentucky, warmer. I thought they had mountains there too (?) Still, not Colorado ones.
