That Isaac is just the best. Every day, he amazes me at how laid-back and calm he is. I hope you get one like him, Jeremy. I noticed that his beak was really long today, about as long as my crippled BR rooster's who never gets to do things to sharpen his. So, I picked him up and took him to the house to have DH trim it. He is just the sweetest, calmest boy and he held pretty still after he saw what we were doing to him, and afterward, just sat in my lap and let us both pet him. I mentioned to DH that if I didn't have the 4th rooster, I could put the girls in his coop back in the main flock and let Suede have the larger coop and keep Suede's empty for whatever uses we might have for it, thereby lessening out work load here. DH says something like, "But he's so good and he's such a pet!" So, seems there is some resistance from the other half to letting Isaac go anywhere, LOL. He wants me to stop thinking like a breeder and just have a flock to enjoy, but to me, that means I don't need an extra rooster.
