I'm here. I follow the thread everyday but stay silent. Been having pc trouble for months & have to use the nintendo wii for internet. Hope to get a new computer soon with back to school sales so I can post pics and gab with y'all

Hi, more questions, one of my hens has greenish legs while the rest have very nice yellow ones. In the future, if she had chicks with a rooster with yellow legs, would her babies have green legs? I have 3 rooster and 2 have way to many points on their combs, would their babies have way to many points? I will get pics asap but it's been down pouring for the past two days, not fun.

Gerbil- they are supposed to have yellow legs, I do not know if it breeds out that easy. You can breed better points but I do not know if the roo or hen is more predominant in that area. Maybe someone else knows?

Kathy- it looks pinker than it is in the picture- it is cloudy out.

I know they are supposed to have yellow legs(Sorry for the word mix up) but if her babies are going to have green legs, I will not breed her.

Thanks, Gerbil

Hey guys,
I know I haven't posted on here in a while but I need some info. My Delaware mix and my Wellie got into a fight three days ago that ended with no back feathers left for my Delaware mix. What should I do? I have been planning on selling my Delaware mix roo for quite some time but I don't think I'll be able to sell him if he looks like he does. Don't have a pic but here is the WHOLE story. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=4672963#p4672963

Something like that wouldn't keep me from buying a bird. I've picked up naked- back or molting girls, and young roos with busted back feathers from juvie roos mounting them. As long as it's not a permanent injury- not a big deal. Roos will be roos! I think most chicken people undestand that as well. If you could show them a before pic- that might help a bit.
