Show off your Peas!

Here is my pride of Pea Palace,,Roadtrip who was moved outside yesterday. Peachecker, where are you?? This peacocks train is 9' across and is no less than 6' high. Please notice no broken train feathers either. He was inside from November to April 20th in a 8'x12' pen along with 3 hens. You say too little space is cruel and causes the birds to peck ect. I have posted many of my adult males the past week whom all were housed overwinter inside small pens. Tell me Peachecker, does this male look like his housing space for the past 5 months hurt him in any way? Do I need to fence off thousands of feet to properly maintain my peas? Does this Peacock look in poor condition to you? Please advise?? Please click to enlarge
Now thats what I call a choo choo. Hes off the tracks!

I think I just swallowed my tongue! Absolutely GORGEOUS!

Mine are in an 8x10 building with a 10x10 pen attached. There are 3 males, two adult hens, and one yearling hen. I plan to build them a bigger building this summer (or pay a neighbor to help if DH won't help me...) My males trains and crests are in great shape, but the hens don't have crests. It would help if the snow would go away... they don't want to go outside. Last fall a few would roost on the outside roost but once it got really cold and the snow started, they started sleeping inside. Now they have a small area right outside the door where I can see they went out, but they don't venture the whole way out. I have a polish rooster in with them because the Cochin roosters were picking on him. His crest is growing back nicely so the peas are apparently leaving him alone.

All five off my males were displaying until I got camera out all are camera shy, I took this picture of my black shoulder male on roost just thought it showed a lot of the color with the way the sun was shining on him

I wish I had a better picture of it- but I thought this guy was being cute displaying for my passing mamma hen and her little chicks. I don't know if everyone has the same experience with these guys, but I love how gentle mine are.
