They look nice! The first and last time I tried to make homemade patties they tasted of nothing! The kids don't like any sauces or strong flavours so I just fried the plain mince. The kids didn't even take a bite.

Had an unopened bag of Romaine Hearts that went bad early. Probably could have trimmed them up and cut off the rot but why? Once a portion of it goes south, it won't be as fresh and crispy throughout.. if that makes any sense. Besides, piggies need piggy snacks.
