A woman adopts a parrot from the pet shop. The bird had been owned by a sailor.
Within an hour, the woman has had enough of the bad language. She sticks the parrot in the freezer for fifteen minutes. When she opens the door again, the parrot steps out, and says, “I am so sorry for my behavior. Please forgive me. May I ask, what did the turkey do?”

I made a giant “tea party” for my friends and I. I made a ton of stuff. Scones, Rose petit fours, cream puffs, open faced cucumber sandwiches and clotted cream for the scones. My friends are so lucky:lau
This week's POW is a definite WOW. :th
As you know, Once a week I sort thru all of the contributions and try to choose a Photograph of a HOMEMADE Yum.
It wasn't hard to pick this week. Don't get me wrong, there was plenty of others that were POW worthy, but this Photo from @Izzychicky WOWED me for the second time.

This isn't a "Foodie" Thread. It's a "I took the time to prepare and create a Yummy Something and sharing your creation with the world. Long after your Yum is gone, Your photo will live on. For all to enjoy your creativity and hard work. Anyone can just snap a photo on a dish from a Restaurant and post it on the web to show it off. But those are Foodie People.
We are Yum People. We are sharing our hard work with a tremendous sense of pride.
This weeks POW displays a tremendous sense of pride.
That was a lot of effort and work to create this beautiful presentation, or should I say.. Masterpiece.

Thank you to all who contribute to our Thread. I'm proud of all of you! :hugs
