I have to share this gorgeous grilled cheese sandwich. I can’t remember the last time I got a “yum!” out of her for grilled cheese.

All 3 of my kids wouldn't eat grilled cheese till they were a little older... Super weird.

Last evening we simmered homegrown bacon in water as per "America's Test Kitchen" recommended.

I still love grilled cheese! I think that's what made me fall for DH...a grilled cheese was the 1st meal he fixed for me when we started dating

Yum-licious! It was only like a 1/2 teaspoon of brown sugar after the onions cooked. It was candied for sure. Never did that before. That was a portion of the bacon hubs smoked last weekend during the "Smoke-Nado" Bar-B-Thon.
