The pan does not give the crust the same texture as stone. We used pans before we went to stone. Now we use only stone.Never had a problem before with the pan we had still have just stick with it

The stone needs to be heated up in the oven first. Then sprinkle some corn meal, but not necessary. Slide pizza onto stone and bake. Never had one sticking to stone yet. If you start out with a pizza on cold stone and place into oven, then I suppose that the crust may stick.Afraid I have to agree the crust is so plastered to the stone it would take a hammer and chisel to remove it
