I don't care for them either...chili makes the fries soggy. Side by side it's all good though!

There was this Japanese restaurant in L.A. that made the BEST french fries. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. When my dad made chili I would take it to work the next day for lunch and pour it on those fries...perfection.

I was talking to DH about chili just last night...it's getting to be that time of year!

We've had two glorious days of decent weather. I've got beans for chili soaking for tomorrow & might fry up some tacos tonight. Definitely taking advantage before the heat kicks in again.

Our chilly (and chili) weather is coming up fast...we're supposed to be in the daytime highs of mid-60's starting this week.

I really have to get DH started on some chili!
