I think someone wants some broccoli. My husband calls her a vegan and says I've polluted her mind because she's always begging for fruits and veggies... Don't worry she gets dog kibble too.

I'd be afraid it would make her gassy. My dog gets gassy every time I feed her people food. :sick:lau

Mine eat veggies and fruits all the time with no issues. I don't consider fruits and veggies people food. They're an all creatures/life forms food.

My pug is eating some of these potatoes at dinner. I made them pug friendly. She won't eat unless I give her a veggie or fruit with her food. She's 10 so she knows how to play me

That's a good point. But Ruby Sue does best when I feed her canned grain free dog food and kibbles. Actually her dog food does have veggies in it. :hmm

When I first got my beagle they told me they put her on a diet...

a little bit of background on this beagle. Her owners used to feed her a large slurpee cup from 7-Eleven everyday. That equals up to almost 6 to 7 cups of food a day :th they told me they couldn't figure out why she wasn't losing weight because they were giving her baby carrots as a treat instead of cookies... I never told them that they were over feeding her, but I corrected the issue when I got her.

She's the one who really started everyone on eating vegetables and fruits because I had to cut down her food big time and supplement with healthier things like the veterinarian recommended.

She was 45 pounds and now she's down to 25.

All of my dogs eat plant foods when I eat them, some of them don't like some of it but I know when they like it because they will all sit in front of me and stare while I eat.

That's really great! You saved that pup's life!!!

I use heavy whipping cream instead of butter.
This reminds me of something I did as a teen. Had Heavy whipping cream, so took an electric hand mixer, and was making some cream for my jello as topping. It got nice and fluffy, so I continued thinking it would get even more fluffy. The result in short time, was the formation of little yellow chips.:yesss: It was butter chips:ya Well, I overdid it that time as a cream for my jello.
IM,, your heavy whipping cream is butter and cream all in one package:thumbsup

Looks like Italian beef. :drool
Yes,,, Italian beef is quite common and popular here in Chitown area. DD purchased it and just heated it in an electric crock on the counter. There are 3 different brands that we purchase here. (local brands) I don't think they are available nationwide.

I've always liked the skins but my mom never left them on when she made them mashed. I do though, I think they taste pretty good in there. Igor approves but the kids not so much.
We peel the regular russet potatoes. The Yukon Gold, and Red potatoes, I have made mashed with skins on. They are easier to scrub clean. Then just remove the eyelets. These same are also good just boiled, sliced, and served as a side.

I just cracked an egg in my husband's jacket pocket and it was the same pocket I put my phone in :gigwe HAD 4 eggs for today

I was putting my new Brahma mix chicks in the coop because I want to keep them. Hoping they're both pullets! I think I smashed it when I was catching them.
