I was going to stay out of the garden but couldn't stay away. Got our first tomato suitable for slicing
BLTs tonight, going to try the jowl bacon. Tomorrow I can cook so pork carnitas for tacos with some homemade pico de gallo

I love canning pico de gallo one of my favs,salsa , pineapple chutney,pickles,beets,onions,etc

I prefer pico fresh but the rest I don't mind canned. Especially pickles and beets

took something called bar b cue buns out of the freezer shy lb of Sausage 1 lb of burger will do burgers tonight and a garden salad with garden peas not enough for a stand alone vegie but can go in a salad
