SHOW OFF YOUR YUM! Food Photography Thread

I do too! I started viili but it is on the second batch now. The piima took three batches to get to the good stage. I have a kit from cultures for health that has 4 types of yogurts in it. I bought it for the piima and both my DW and I like it a lot. If any of the others turn out, it will be plus

Have you tried making in with cream? I might try making butter from piima cultured cream

I have the same kit :highfive:

I haven't tried it with cream, I use whole milk but I'll have to give it a try.

I agree it took a few batches to settle in and have a pleasing taste.

I didn't care for the villi :confused:but I do enjoy the greek from that kit. I made several batches but the Piima is no fuss and so much easier.

I am really loving the yogurt...and am patiently waiting for the Jack Cheese to be ready!

DD was in Tokyo, and brought back a souvenir. I made it... I cant read any of these instructions. The noodles are of the Ramen Family:idunnoView attachment 1479975

The larger seasoning packet in liquid form is Pork Flavor.
The small one is HOTTER than 7734,... I used a whole packet. DW passed on it totally. It is applied after noodles are cooked.

I feel GREAT. after consuming those noodles. I am used to HOT foods, and do enjoy them.(never had chili that was TOO HOT:gig) I have overindulged on peppers in the past. You know the aftermath result:gig
For tea, I heated up 2 Real Tamales. Topped with Salsa Verde. I keep Medium on hand because others in the family cant handle HOT.:hit
Washed it down with a glass of Black Cherry Juice.:drool

I cut into center to show beef filling. These were real corn husk wrapped.

They look nice! I like food with a bit of a kick. Not too much though, I like to actually taste my food! My brood ate the same, they don't like hot stuff apart from one of my boys. I now have to get double portions of hot wings!

I'm relieved to see Connie popped in (even if only long enough to get Connie Francis stuck in my head.) ;)

I have no idea what piima is... Gonna hace to look that up.

Piima is drinkable yogurt you culture on your kitchen counter at room temperature. Good stuff!
