It's kind of weird that only yesterday we were talking fish and chips. Well today we had a unexpected trip to Cleethorpes which is a seaside resort about an hour from here. So as it goes no trip to the seaside goes with out either SANDwiches or good old fish and chips! We chose the latter!

We went here to one of many authentic establishments!

And here it is fish, chips and my personal favourite curry sauce!

We sat on the seafront avoiding the seagulls looking out toward the pier.

And what s better way to finish it off the a nice tub of icecream! I chose bubblegum ripple with a chocolate flake.

A great day had by all! I'm pooped!

This is an UNFAIR posting. Now I'm droooooooling like 7734. The prices look very reasonable,,,, at least to me.
Been in THE EUROPE,,,, and know food prices are higher there than this side of the POND.
Now I must go and get some BEER BATTERED COD,,, (one of my fav's)

Food prices are a little on the high side here along with everything else! But it's nice for a treat once in a while! Beer battered cod sounds like a plan!

I picked up trout and a turkey breast tenderloin. Besides grilling, what would you do with either piece of meat? I want to cook one or both tomorrow - then can post some pics. Thanks!

In all honesty, I had some halibut in the freezer. I defrosted it, and I gave it to the birds. I considered cooking it first, but they really didn’t care.
