Stupid city girl question; If you keep milking them, do they continue to produce milk forever, or do you need to breed them now & then to keep them going?
Not stupid at all! You generally breed once a year, but i have heard of really well fed does milking for up to 2 years. Not the norm, though.

I had goats milk once as a kid. I didn't like it. :oops: Perhaps I'd like it now. :confused:

I'm just messing with ya!:hugs I was raised on margarine. I actually never even had real butter till late into my adulthood. Its nice that they can make it non hydrogenated now (I hear its very soft.)
