SHOW OFF YOUR YUM! Food Photography Thread

No. I grew cabbage once. It was nerve wracking. I can’t eat vegetables that I know slugs or worms touched.
If you grow your leafy stuff when it's cold, it minimizes the bug trail. Not sure where you are located, but here I grow my cabbage and lettuce in the fall /winter. If I plant in the spring, the cabbage worms have a field day.

Never heard of it here.... :idunno It is a meat substitute , I wonder if it is similar to tofu.:idunno
Yes it is a meat substitute. I had it in a chili a few weeks ago. I didn't even notice until I was told! It was a great chili. It can be made to taste like chicken or pork. I'm not sure how they make it but I think it's some kind of yeast magic recipe.

I heard about someone who found a dead mouse inside a pack of prepacked salad! And spiders in bananas seems to happen alot!
I saw a very pretty spider in bananas when I worked at Safeway! It was likely invasive though

I have no Quarrel with Vegan Peeps and Will eat ALL THEIR FOODS. Had Tofu, and like it. I just don't buy it myself. Would definitely try that Quorn . If I spot it in the grocery store,, will buy it. Only find it on line by me. :idunno

I know. It’s just less likely.

I keep reading that I can do winter cabbage here. I just haven’t tried yet.
My garden (all produce really) hasn’t done well this year, but my tomatoes are at least okay. Took them awhile though.
