We had roast beast with carrots, potatoes and a cream based pan gravy. I used 1 c each cream and water with beef bouillon and pan drippings. Washed it down with moo juice and a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie.

Hey IM...guess what's thawing out in my fridge? You guessed it, I put a frozen roast in there yesterday DH will be home either today or tomorrow so we'll be enjoying our own roast beast then. He likes the meat and my favorite part is the vegetables & broth.

Yummy! I like the veggies best too. Roasts smell good but they're not my favorite. I'd rather shred the meat and make sandwiches or tacos.

One reason I'm going to cook the roast is so I can try a new recipe with the left over meat...it's for Southern Beef Hash. Calls for shredded roast beef, onion, potato, garlic, some seasonings and roast beef drippings.

Mainly, I kind of cook that big hunk of meat to flavor my vegetables and for the leftovers.

One reason I'm going to cook the roast is so I can try a new recipe with the left over meat...it's for Southern Beef Hash. Calls for shredded roast beef, onion, potato, garlic, some seasonings and roast beef drippings.

Mainly, I kind of cook that big hunk of meat to flavor my vegetables and for the leftovers.

Southern Beef hash...let us know how you like it. Sounds interesting.

Ugh no, no ranch dressing in it Don't get me wrong, I like the dressing as much as anyone but not in everything!

Thank you! Fresh, homemade ranch is so much better than the bottled stuff! I like it too, but there are limits lol.

Bookmarked the recipe for future use. You know, I have a whole section of bookmarks that starts with "NFCs" for recipes you've shared.

Yep, once you taste fresh, the bottled stuff seems kind of artificial.
