SHOW OFF YOUR YUM! Food Photography Thread

I cut mine in half and toss a dab of butter along with salt & pepper and bake it until tender. Some like to sweeten it up with brown sugar too. We prefer it non-sweet.

One year we way over-planted all kinds of squash in our FL garden. We ate squash by the bushel! But really enjoyed it and it is good for you!
So basically you do it just like I did the spaghetti squash... That's easy.

I was thinking about maybe putting some cinnamon on it. Maybe that's just weird :gigIt sounded good when I thought of it!

I'm really trying to get more into plants and trying to steer away from plant-based meat and all those other gimmicks that they have out there.

I have to figure out stuff to make for Thanksgiving because I usually don't have my parents cook anything special for me. I usually just bring my own stuff because I don't want to burden anyone.

It doesn't sound plain to me. sounds really good!
I'm telling you I sprinkled nutritional yeast on everything :lau I even put it in my family's food and they always think that it's cheese I put in there. My dog's even like eating it.

I actually sprinkled the seeds and insides of the spaghetti squash with nutritional yeast and gave it to the chickens and ducks.

I have never tried nutritional yeast. I try not to add a lot of yeast in general to my diet, so I'm leary of it, but it sounds tasty. And they say it's healthy. I should look it up.

Was going to answer doing butternut squash, by N F C already did, and my method was same. I think I filled that hollow cavity with more butter.:drool:drool:drool
DW does zucchini,,, often during summer growing season. Slices in half lengthwise, and hollows out the center some, creating a sort of canoe. Takes the hollowed portions and dices. In skillet,(on olive oil or canola) caramelizes onion, diced mushrooms, diced zucchini, and adds some chopped walnuts at end. Seasoning , and salt to taste. Fills the hollowed canoes with the ingredients, and bakes. Not sure how long, but until done :idunno. About near end of bake cycle, sprinkle some shredded cheese. Usually we have the 3 Cheese Mexican Variety,, :drool:drool:drool on hand. Now that I think of cheese,,,,, maybe some of that Nacho Cheese topping would be tasty,,,, NOW ALL THIS WRITING IS MAKING ME HUNGRY:bow
Usually do a large quantity to fill a cookie sheet. Also usually for Fiestas when we have them:thumbsup
