That's a sad situation...so sorry to hear it. From what I've read on here, I don't think that there was anything that you could have done with her to help her. Most internal layers don't last for very long...and with chickens, it's so hard to figure out what is wrong with them when they are sick. You sure did everything that you could think of...on a positive note, now that you know the symptoms for an internal egg layer ( I sure didn't) , you'll know what's happening if you run across it again.
