Silkie Genders?

Yeah, I'm going to agree with @JedJackson on this one. 4 and 3 look like hens, while 1 and 2 look like roos. What could help though is looking at tail feathers as well!

Hello lurkers of this thread and those who stayed along for the results on #2. Yesterday, it was confirmed chick number two was indeed a … COCKEREL!!!

Oh sorry I just checked and it has VERY small waddles tucked up under their feathers not noticeable without really checkin.

Well, I guess at this point you may need to wait and see if it crows or lays an egg.

1 is a cockerel, 3 and 4 are pullets, and 2 could go either way.

Ok,
What gender are these silkies? They were born on June 26/27th this year.
Chick #1 ( Dr. Z ) is definitely a rooster and has been crowing for the last month or two.
Chick #2 ( Nutella ) we are very stuck on them, they have not been crowing that we know of. They sometimes get in small kerfuffles but he/she mostly acts like a hen.
