I have some eggs under a hen in my garage that were supposed to hatch yesterday... she let them get really dirty so they may have gotten bacteria infections. Will be candling them tomorrow... just candled them last week and everything looked great.

Not sure how long ago that post originated but I'm in Galesburg illinois. 40 miles west of Peoria Illinois.

8 silkies now. Have 8 hatching eggs being shipped tomorrow. Can't wait to try and hatch them out.

we have bearded ones only one of our hens is non bearded.

5/7 hatched, one died hatching and the other was a 2 week quitter.
