Those look great!
That looks awesome!
The other day I popped my head into the coop as the sun was rising. All the chickies were in there, and the moment my head was in 3 silkie roosters and my game bantam chose to crow...
You are actually wishing for a cockeral! WOW!I'm 100% sure this is a pullet now. 6+ weeks old. I actually was hoping for a good looking cockerel.

AAAAHHH thats funny! The other day I popped my head into the coop as the sun was rising. All the chickies were in there, and the moment my head was in 3 silkie rooster and my game bantam chose to crow...![]()
An eagle, or fox might have snagged one of your chickens, & ran off/flew away with it.One of my buff silkie pullets is missing. I have checked the coop and most of the run. No feathers or body. I haven't seen her since Friday afternoon. I forgot to count them in their coop friday night but she was there in the afternoon. I haven't seen any sign of her.
I think a predator got her, but there is no feathers or body! What animal do you think it was?
And no, she is not laying and I don't think she would be broody. Although my polish Pullet is laying 1 egg a week but I haven't received an egg for almost 2 weeks, surely that isn't enough eggs to go broody with?
Please tell me what you think.
