Not sure what part of the state your in but keep talking to everyone you know or don’t know about the birds! I was having a problem with our well and the service guy has some eggers he wants to re-Home. I’ve got a dozen or so hens headed my way... my neighbor has 11 hens he doesn’t buy chickens just keeps the word out that he will always take a free hen. I’ve already got 2 roo’s and only 9 hens. Lucky they all get along! Otherwise I might end up with yours he does look nice!

Thats awesome that you know so many chicken keepers. I actually just found him a home on a family farm. He’s going to be their next SLW breeder roo
