I can tomatoes, but not cherry toms. Those are for snacking. I have dehyrated them, and they were... ok.

I freeze beans, instead of canning. I prefer freezing because I like the texture better. I might can some this year, just to see if that's still the case. :)
I have had no luck freezing beans. If they stay crisp they taste like hay. Blanching a little longer they taste better but you lose the color and texture. The last ones I froze I ended up composting. I don’t even buy frozen green beans.
DH and I decided we like canned green beans just fine. We don’t compare them to fresh beans, we consider them a different species. :gig I’m starting to think I should just enjoy them fresh while I have them.

So, I got the kitchen cleaned up an'all, We went to town, filled the car at costco then went to Lows to get washer/gaskets for the pvc pipes for under the sink ,its 2pmish, and the Lows Man came over to assist:

me; Ya it was 8pmish, I was caning and just about to fill jars when all this water was on the floor

Lows Man: Oh, what were you canning?

Me, : 🤔 Uuu??? 🤦‍♀️ Uuuu🤔 ....🤷‍♀️ :confused: DH ?what was I canning:lol: I have no idea? I was up to 2am and I really dont know:eek::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
