Speaking of porches:

I've wanted a front porch since we moved into our house, 30+ years ago. I've always had a deck - but no cover.
This year, we finally got an awning. I'm a happy porch-sitter View attachment 3605949

That's great.

Now you can sit on the porch in comfort to enjoy your coffee or tea.

The mullen finished dryng, I got the weeks mess cleaned up and the house vacuumed.
The ham turned out wonderful, dinner is done, dishes are done.
I'll soaker hose on low over night, we have a bit of an odd heat wave rolling through.
