The flower is beautiful and the chicken looks like she is ready to stay awhile.
That photo is a few weeks old now and she's back on her feet now.

But you're right, she sat right for 22 days and was back on her feet properly by day 25.

Nice, but cloudy day here. I dug up some grass that is working its way into the garden and took some grubs and bugs to the chickens for chickie snack.

Tomorrow is the last nice day. Big changes coming on Thursday and Friday. I have a chiro appointment tomorrow, so I'll do any errands I have and then hunker down for the "wintry mix" precipitation we have coming.

And, maybe by next Monday, my gluten free sourdough starter will be ready to make a loaf of bread...
Ooh, what kind of flour did you use? I had one going last winter for a few months, but it went bad. Hoping to try again soon.

Good Morning
up at 2:30, I got cold. Fire is going and coffee is almost ready

Good morning! It's spring here but still a little chilly in the morning. Still, the hollyhocks are flowering.

And Mary was broody a couple of weeks ago.

If she goes broody again, I may try to get her some fertile eggs.
Love those photos. It is so nice to see the beauty that is blooming in other parts of the world as our part of the world prepares to go to sleep. Keep them coming 💓💓

Morning to all
Oh so nice and roasty - toasty, I would park my chair right there!
and not get dressed until 10
there are mornings I wish I had one like that, the smoke, ash, trying to get the draft to pull right when the wind is blowing,,,,
