Sunday and Monday, we got an inch ++ of rain. So very thankful!

Today, we have wildfire smoke so thick, it looks like it's foggy. I got a bit of weeding done, then had to quit. But everything looks so much healthier and greener because of the wonderful rain!

We have gone from drought to drenching rain several times a day. The yard is finally greening back up. It has been brown since Memorial Day which never happens here.

Coffee on the porch at 5:30 Am and who visits? Two does with two of this years model of little fellers sportin' their spots 20 yrds away eating grass. Real nervous crew, got up for another cup and they just kept eating.

that what it did here last week, the yard had browned out bone dry- no rain all of May but then last week it rained and most of the yard came back---so weird
