Six-week-old cockerel gasping for breath

He's panting less now and acting more normal. I can only pray the trend continues.

Well, time for an update.

I thought he was doing better, but then he went back to the panting again. Some days it's worse than others, but it seems to be kind of an on-and-off thing. Yesterday it was really bad, but today he seems completely normal. However, he may start up again in a few hours. That's what happened last time.

Poor boy.

Is it cruel to let him struggle through this or should I just let him deal with it? I don't know what to do.

He did it for a couple more days, and then just stopped, and he's been perfectly healthy ever since! Praise the Lord!!
