So confused! Pullet or Cockerel Barred Rock?

Hi - newbie to Barred Rocks.

I *THINK* I have two Barred Rocks (they came as a "rainbow pullets" variety from a local farm store - never again!)

I've looked at so many pics and read so many things about how to tell the difference in gender and I feel like mine have pullet feather coloring/stripes, but cockerel combs/waddles. They're about 5.5 weeks old.

both are sadly cockerels, most likely. But you might have wanted cockerels so possible yay, but a probable nay.

The male/female difference in coloring/stripes mostly works for purebred Barred Rocks, but does not work for crosses. Males can have the darker "female" coloration if one parent had white barring and the other did not. (Examples: Black Sexlink males, some Olive Eggers.)

I'm still new with raising chickens too,but in my opinion, those are rose

I was thinking of getting a rainbow packet myself, but I'm too chicken
