Yes I always get excited with new hatches. Splash & blue today. I also have white & black No I dont band, why?

I always thought if it were an ABA event, you would get more than just the ribbon if you won. For the .35 cents a band, I have been banding all my birds. I think it makes me look more more professional. And next year, they will have larger sizes. The show in Sussex next month is ASBC also.

Its a good way to keep track of which bird is what. I do write info where the bird came from or hatch date & so on but dont show. It is a good idea though since I now doubles in color and do get them mixed up at times.

If you're not a member, I will be ordering more, I have some left over. Let me know what you need, they are so cheap, it cost more in shipping than the bands. $5.00 shipping, .35 each band. Silkies should be size 15mm, at least that's what on all mine, they seem ok, but only 4 months old.
