We're enjoying turkey leftovers still up in Saugerties. We went over the Walkway Over the Hudson this afternoon. Just beautiful.

Laura said the girls are very noisy. hmmmm.

Looking forward to getting home to my girls tomorrow. But it's been so great spending time with my brothers and sisters and their kids.

Hmm, wasn't Maggie talking about ninja-ing some more chicks?
oops. I used to breed bunnies years ago. I find chickens much more fun.
And I have some of my original girls still lay eggs on a regular basis. 9 years old!
If they are happy, and healthy...

Thanksgiving was good. No stress, no fighting. Ahhh.
Now I still have to cook two 20lb turkeys, but they can sit there all day, nobody asking "is it ready yet?"
And I still haven't gotten my chestnuts from Delmarvelous chestnuts, maybe that's why it went so smoothly?
Didn't have to peel those things! And, they haven't answered me as to where they are. Oh well...

It's still pretty good weather down here, I was outside yesterday repotting plants.
Yes, I actually didn't have to work! And was feeling good enough not to sleep all day. Wow. A holiday miracle!
