This is totally random but I have some questions. I’m trying to get away from Chef Boyardee and similar make my own spaghetti instead. I’ve already done it a couple times and it was obviously MUCH better. But I couldn’t find the meatballs the first time (was in an hurry and didn’t really look too hard) and the second time I think I used some ground beef in the sauce. It was good but I’d like to try to use meatballs this next time I make it. It won’t be tonight or anything so I’ve got time. But I’m just wondering if anybody has a good, fairly easy recipe for meatballs OR a brand of frozen ones that actually tastes good and isn’t too bad? Please and thank you! Any other recipes are welcome too like vegetables or other meats to add, etc. Again please and thank you.

Home made spaghetti sauce.

1 quart of home canned tomatoes, or a large can of store bought
1 medium onion
1 large clove of garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Drain the canned tomatoes very well. Dump into a blender. Add everything else to the blender. Blend on medium to high speed for about 30 seconds. Done.

Heat it up, or use it at room temperature like my husband. The onion and garlic are stronger tasting that way.

There are a lot of meatball recipes out there, but the easiest meatballs can be made using ground Italian sausage. You can find it in most grocery stores, both the mild and the hot. Just mix one pound with a raw egg for binder and maybe some grated Parm (from the shaker container) if you want. Roll the meat into what ever size balls you want and then brown them in a skillet or bake in the oven.

You can then add them to your spaghetti sauce or into a roll for a sandwich (with mozzarella cheese on top of course).

Easy peasy!
