I'm so sorry to hear that, Kale. Life is awfully hard sometimes.

Were you able to find something grippy to put in the brooder like Kdog suggested? That might help, though at this point I'm not sure.
I'm afraid if you can't fix his legs you'l have the very sad job of ending his suffering.

It is, unfortunately, part of hatching. I've had to do it--everyone who hatches enough times eventually has to. It isn't kind or fair to let the chick die a slow, painful death.
The easiest way for both you and the chick is to cut its head off with a pair of scissors. It will bleed. Best do it outside. But talk with your grandpa first and get his advice.
