Those sure are pretty! Tomorrow I go to the P.O. to pick up a box. It was a good Mothers Day. I heard from all but one of my five children and he's out of the country right now so that's understood. I miss hearing from my two oldest sons who have passed away. They never forgot my birthday or any holiday. The brunch at the Masonic Lodge was great. The tables were decorated so pretty and the food was very good. My husband ate with me before going to work and after I went to Walmart for some backing for my grandsons quilt.

I'm crocheting doilies right now using up a bunch of thread I have aquired. I'm not sure what I'll do with them yet although one will go to my neighbor for her birthday. I hope everyone's Mothers Day was a good one. It got up to 100 today.

The box at the P.O. was Kate's. Oh! how talented those students are. They did a fantastic job and receive a pat on the back and a "job well done" from me.

Kate they did great. I am going to contact the last person one more time and if I don't get a response I start sorting tomorrow. Time is running out for school letting out for the summer and I want the students to have their blocks. The fun is about to begin everyone. Wouldn't it be nice if we could all sit down with a cup of coffee or tea and go over them together? I get all the fun this time.

Whew! I was was hoping it was ours! We get out the 31st so there is time. Thanks so much, I'll read the kids the compliments tomorrow, they worked very hard! I had one bring in squares this morning who had been in the club but moved! I went ahead and took them and I'll mix up what we got and share with her too.

I have seen a lot of the squares and did see most of the ones from Kate's students and those from her. They are outstanding and it would be fun to see how Betty divides all of them. But in fact I just visit Betty's place because our chickens are there. If I need help I take Betty away for her crocheting and quilt making but shucks the chickens need Betty also.

Yes, it would be fun for us to drink coffee or tea and look at squares together. Maybe we could try something like that at a future swap. Until then, I'm grateful for you for hosting the swap and am looking forward to the squares.
