Spring Granny Square Swap

Quote:
I'd bet everyone here feels the same way. We aren't worrying if the squares from your kids "match" anything. It is just so precious that they are working so hard for us! I now realize I can use individual squares to make all kinds of things that my granddaughters adore. So don't worry, their squares will be well loved!!!

we'll treasure them no matter what. You just send them on. We wouldn't do anything to make your students feel bad. We want to encourage them.

I know my kids are safe here, I just know that some of the blocks are not as tight as they could be or they have a little of the wrong color in them. I don't want anyone here to think I don't trust them, that's not what I meant at all. One of my girls loves brown,, it's not on the colors we are using but she made some that are green and brown. So I just wanted to warn everyone that they don't necessarily understand all the time that we are following certain colors or something, they do what looks good to a kid lol. But they are doing good work!

I bought some yarn this morning, so I can keep practing my crocheting! My sister said she would help me over the computer on Skype, hopefully tonight if she is feeling better. My mom us redoing her kitchen in apples. So I bought the Peaches and Cream (brown, red, and green) rolls, I would like to make her some rags or pot holders. Eventually I will be joining in on this swap!

I ran into JoAnn's quick and grabbed some yarn, because anxious to get going...I did grab a turquoise, lavendar and almost sage green, now my question is the turquoise considered a cool color or should I hang onto it for something else
