Spring Granny Square Swap

Uhoh, not the pressure is on! Being WELL into adulthood, I feel like I need to produce something that is at least as lovely as the squares these children are doing! They are very pretty!

I definitely agree it is a cool color. If I don't get on here much between now and the 21st it's because I'm sooooo busy getting ready for my husbands installation as Master of his Lodge. The corsages are ready but haven't even started on my dress. I have to go 76 miles to get dress material and I didn't get there until Wed. I only needed lining and fabric for a jacket to go over my evening dress. I had the fabric for that from way back when. I just took over the newsletter (Trestleboard) and am learning new publishing software. I thought I'd have until the end of the month to get out Feb. but the man that has it now and was supposed to get out Jan is so sick from his chemo and radiation he didn't tell anyone and now it's way over due and I may have to finish it. I'll try to get photos of my blocks taken today and posted. I like the colors, they're cool, no pun intended.

Have to get busy. We also have a niece coming out for the installation so will have company from the 18th thru the 21st.

Those children are doing well. They have a good teacher.

I'm nuts for sure. I took photos of some of my blocks this evening but didn't get them in the computer as I had it all tied up installing a new wireless printer to the new computer I got my husband for Christmas and my new one I got for my embroidery machine which I'm going to use to do the Trestleboard. This computer is almost 9 years old and I don't expect it to last much longer although it's been a work horse for sure. I did get my material laid out and the pattern but haven't started cutting it yet. That's my project for tomorrow. It will work up fast after that as there are no zippers or button holes to do on all three pieces. I just put 18 eggs in the incubator for a friend. Yep! I'm nuts. lol

Well, I finally took photos of some of my blocks for the spring swap. I didn't take photos of all blocks, over 20 now, but I showed my favorite old pattern .
