OK... back to crochet! I finished mine last night. Got all the ends tucked in, just need to tag them and put them into baggies, then get into town to mail them. They are supposed to be mailed out by when?

BTW Rancher has mentioned his dear wife, on several occasions, here on this thread.

Not worried, just thought it a tad inappropriate. But then my DH and I are one of those VERY married couples that would find something like this very uncomfortable to say the least. My DH reads over my shoulder quite often and I would be quite embarrassed if he read something like this if I were the topic instead of Rancher.

They are supposed to be mailed by the 28th. We haven't heard from a lot of the people signed up for this swap. I may have to PM them again and see how they're coming.

Thanks for the update Betty. I made 23, thinking that if 20 were needed I would make 2 extra, just in case, and somehow I made 3 extra (not sure how that happened, just miscounted). So anyway, now I was thinking of making a few more so they would distribute evenly. I actually started a simpler pattern tonight and was hoping I could have a couple of days to finish these new ones. My Post Office isn't open Saturday though so I suppose I should just mail what I have instead of waiting til Monday.

I just read it. For those who think I might be offended don't. Nothing surprises me these days at my age Writer. I got hit on in the grocery store once and if I hadn't been there I never would have believed it. She left real quick when I mentioned my daughters.

I should have mentioned my chickens and that would have sent her running for the hills.

I didnt' tell DW she would have chased her down and given her our number.

Seriously we've been married going on 36 years. I don't chase women cuz I'm to slow and if I do catch them I wouldn't remember why I was chasing them.

I never get lost cuz DW is always telling me where to go.

She carries my life insurance policy in her purse, just in case.

She has our life insurance agent on speed dial.

I can never understand these guys who cheat. Where do they find the time and energy?

DW and I have been married so long, that when we bought sneakers in TJMaxx we both picked out a pair that were practically the same style and color and neither of us were together.

She's a good cook and hostess and the prettiest girl I ever dated. She still is.

I've been tucking my tails in this week, still need to finish a few and need to bag & tag them as well. It's an extremely busy time for us with it being DD's Senior year.

We've been running around getting everything in place to be ready for prom this weekend. We went to pick up her beautiful dress from alterations and they took it in too much, so had to leave it over the weekend for them to fix. We went back on Tue and it still wasn't right, but they fixed it. YAY!!! We found some long beautiful elegant gloves to match, picked out some spray roses to go in her hair, had a little make up session at Macy's, and found a small clutch to match. She's a natural hippie nature chick, so I was surprised she let me persuade her to get a little makeup, but it's all very sheer natural looking. Her last day of school is May 9th and graduated on May 19th, so lots & lots to do on my end.

Hubby & I are trying to start up our first lil business, so many days and night have been spent there building things out, painting cleaning, filling out applications, typing up proposals to present, typing of amendment notices to mail to other property owners in the area etc...

Sunny I can't wait to see what you come up with for the next swap. I will try to dig up my other swaps from the basement and take a pic to share. I might not add in the last fall swaps to the hodgepodge afghan, but do one all in those colors since it would match my living room. I do love your idea of keeping on all the tags as a memory until they fall off.

Well gotta run b/c I forgot to feed the bees. Always something to feed around here, but I think I cover everyone else today. Heading to the shop to help hubby.
