Well I'm going to ask for input here or on the crochet thread once I get a basic idea of what I want to put in the poll. I get so many great ideas here on BYC. It is an awesome place to turn to for help.

Well all 50 of my squares are bagged and tagged. Kate said her and the three students have over 80 done and the three boxes that I've received so far have over the required number so we should have a good exchange thanks to everyone that sent extras. I'm getting out PM's today to see what is going on with the others that are in the swap but haven't posted in a while. I'm housebound until the repair man comes to check out my kitchen range so now is a good time.

THANK YOU Soooooo much for hosting this swap!!! I'm so sorry, but I haven't mailed my swaps off yet. I hope to get them them off this afternoon, but more looking like tomorrow morning.

I am soooo sorry!!! I've never mailed swaps late after a deadline. My weekend was consumed by DD's prom festivities!!!

Don't feel bad Smitty. At least you have a good reason. I just simply walked off this morning and left the bag full of squares sitting on the washer.

I promise to actually take them with me tomorrow and get them mailed at lunch.

I didn't get my squares mailed either. I had them all ready and went into town to run my errands and then headed to the PO and suddenly remembered that I didn't have Betty's address! Boy what a terrible memory I have. And I was so proud of myself for remembering to bring everything to mail them! Everything but the address for where they are going.

I have 30 bagged and tagged but I think I'll make a couple more tonight since I have the time.

Is anyone planning on hosting a Summer swap after this one is finished? I was going through my squares from the last swap and think I need some more =)

I am hosting the next one but since summer is just around the corner they will more likely be due in Fall. I think we have decided on a "jewel tone" theme, meaning ruby red, sapphire blue, emerald green but that has not been locked down yet and the next one will be done a little differently. We will be deciding on the pallette and brand of yarn etc ahead of time so folks can just order online. It will make it easier for most although for those wanting to use up scrap yarn this next swap won't be a big help (unless they happen to have one of the choices among their scraps).

I'll be hitting up the folks on this thread to help me with some other ideas that have been floating around in my head as well. Then I will post a poll to make the final decisions before starting the new thread.
