I love the looks of this guy. If he had a more rounded breast, he would be stunning. I love how he looks so streamlined and the breeze is blowing his tail
no breeze there, Thats how their tail is held , with round breast would look like a pheasant .
This is a thai from a show line
Did you know that some Thais line also have multiple spurs , dark eyes or dark pigment on pearl eyes what is call( frog eye) , I wonder if they had infused Sumatras on the making of Thais to obtain the long tail .
Or the Sumatra ancestor since Thais have been around for awhile

I have a hen I'm trying to get to hatch some eggs.. I live in houston.. She isn't sitting on them constantly.. Just more at night.. And the roo is acting kinda motherly... Is it the heat or humidity?? Or do I need to invest in a incubator??

I love this male! very nice head and tail angle, long back, his legs don't look to short, a nice green sheen to him, he looks good. I would like to see more of a longer saddle on him, and a darker face. oh and you got the fullness of the tail down.
His saddle should get a little longer, he is only 6 months old. Thanks!

I'm trying to get some Pekings instead of an incubator. The hens are easier than an incubator I think. The hens take care of the chicks and it's cheaper than a incubator and a lamp. I have chicks hatching tomorrow, and I had chicks hatch on the 12th, but they hatched at a Friends when I was visiting England and I haven't seen them yet.

But yeah I think if you do some research on different breeds, you can find out which ones are good mothers and get the breed that you like best.
