After going through all the blocks from the last swap,, I really have to improve and come up with something nicer!

Cool good to know it's the same color. It's Lavender Blue, I compared it, and when I put it in the wishlist area it said Lavender Blue. Joanne's tech person probably did the spelling mistake trying to shorten it.
Funny! Well I'll leave that color name there then with a slash and then the full name so folks know both are just fine.I saw a lav bluee, too. Maybe Caron had made the typo and corrected it on later skeins but didn't recall the earlier ones. I'll look at the darker purple next time I go to Joann's. I usually go there on my Sunday afternoon walks.
I think I've decided what to do for my 6x12s but haven't decided on the 12" ones yet. I want to do 2 sets, obviously. A set of strips that spell out LOVE and I can't decide on the others. There are so many cool pattertns out there!!!Has everyone found a pattern yet? I've been leisurely looking, but haven't picked one just yet. I printed the yarn list, but haven't made it to the store to pick any up yet. Can't wait!!!!![]()
Yay!!! I'll add Jessica's name to the list now! Tell her we said "Welcome"!I have another name, Jessica the young lady that helps me with the Crochet Club would like to be part of the swap. She's really good too,,, she's made our club much better! We'll send ours together.
haha I have started more blankets that way! Before Kim's fall swap I had never really done squares before but I had started quite a few baby blankets with a square pattern I liked and then just didn't stop til I had a blanket.I have a pattern. It is for six-inch squares. If anyone wants to make a twelve-inch square but can't find a pattern, one thing you can do is make a six-inch square and add on. I did that with a classic 3dc, 1ch granny square and kept going until I had a table cloth.
Me too! Luckily we have tons of time to decide before we have to start. I love this part though. Sifting through all the pretty patterns. The colors you chose sound like they will be so lovely together! Can't wait to see what you make with them!Well I went to Wally World this afternoon to get a few things to throw in DD's care package I'll mail to her tomorrow and was so EXCITED to find they had 4 colors on the list. I bought Red Heart Shimmer~ Shamrock, Red Heart Shimmer ~ Ivory, Caron Simply Soft~Bone, Caron Simply Soft~Plum Perfect. YAY!!!![]()
I would have posted a pic of my yarn loot, but gave DD my camera to take to camp with her.![]()
Sunny~ The strips that spell LOVE sound sooooo cool!!!
Alethea~ That's an excellent idea about adapting a 6" pattern to make a 12" square.
Now back to the drawing board to pick out a pattern. Oh man it always takes me forever....
Me too! Thanks Sunny!!! Not sure what color combo I will put together just yet. I'll know after I take another trip to check out the other colors I couldn't find today. Oh so many pretty colors. I really love the glitzy looking shimmer yarns.
