Thanks.

Hoping for more improvement, including her stool

I let her visit her flock but the specialist told me not to let her experience temperature fluctuations. It's been around 50 in the morning and mid 70s in the afternoon so it's a pretty limited visit unfortunately. She really loves it. I hope she knows that's what we're working for..to get back to her flock for a long, happy, healthy life. I hope we can.

It means so much that so many of you are cheering Maybelle on!
I am trying to get her to eat more on her own today. Any ideas on what else I can add to her mash to entice her...that won't complicate the sour crop?
She likes sunflower seeds a lot but it seems they're starchy.

I wondered about cooked oatmeal, squash, corn? Or fruits? I don't want anything getting "stuck" or creating more yeast or an impaction so trying to be cautious.

Her stool is still green and watery. Crop still had same amount of contents this morning as yesterday.

I don't feel like she's improved any now over the last twenty four hours. Still minimal eating, crop was the same size in the morning, and still some of that fatigue. Should I be worried?

If I were you and I wasn't satisfied with what she ate or drank throughout the day, I'd continue with tubing, at least in the evening. You definitely don't want her to become dehydrated as that can send her on a downward spiral.

While you're waiting for the crop bra to arrive you can make a simple makeshift one. There's a good page on it here:

However IMO the crop bra pictured in that link is a little too tight, and should be pushing the crop forwards and up so as not to have it blocked by the top of the keel (at least that may be the case with especially pendulous crops), but I welcome other opinions and the person who wrote that article definitely knows more than I do :)
