Surviving Minnesota!

Oh, holm.... you are too funny!  Dont you know that you are supposed to wear khaki pants to a sadie hawkins dance?? There is nothing better...

Thats what I thought I would wear. Bit there is a sentence that drives a human bonkers... "It doesnt match my dress"... And the dance isnt till the 4th of december!! Lets wait till the 3rd to get ready!!

On the house. The widows here are good not great. Better than single pane, but definitly let in the cold air. especially the windows in the living room as they dont have storm windows for some reason.

I use too. but when I remodeled I put in really good windows. Now I wish they were not quite as good. I miss hearing the wind noises. I like a house that breaths some, regardless of what building inspectors say.

I would use the shrink wrap ones and hope the dog does not go through it.

This link will take you to a short "turkey video"

It is a good video..

Good Morning. I was a little late this a.m. and there were 8 pages of conversation when I turned off last night. This a.m. there are 16! Holy Cats!
I watched this video. I laughed thinking I should, somehow, post it to my facebook page so everyone out there, who already think I am chicken crazy, would know with certainty that I may become turkey crazy. My DH has already warned me though.

Oh Holm...you had me busting out laughing this morning!!! You are too funny. Just do your best! LOL.

Kloppers enjoy your shop this morning.

Yah we are doing good on the old Listy List. #10 with the most replies. We'll have some quality responses going here too. There's always a little chatting going on.

19 degrees out there today, actually. The fruit phone adjusted. I can't wait until May for the new phone so I can do App updates. Ridiculous little company.

Well I better get a thing or two done today myself.

Happy chickening all!

I need to watch that Turkey video too!

Yes, i will be sure to take care. I will probably hook up all the lengths of chains and straps that i can find and try and dislodge it from as far away as possible. My gut is telling me i should probably wait until somebody else is around when i do it.

A local jewelry store owner died last year when he dropped a branch on himself while working alone. the weather was like this and he basically died of exposure before anyone found him. They said he would have survived the wounds from the branch, but he was pinned and couldnt get out.
So go with your gut so there is a tomorrow.
