that is sad Holms. What a special Grandma and this is one I won't forget. I hope I never have to use it but isn't it a truism?

Yeah. She is the one that started this poultry adventure. I always dreamed she would be able to see it... I know she would be proud though...
 
No calf yet. But WOW! is that backside of hers SWOLLEN! It is sticking out like 2 inches and very jiggly-is that what they call 'springing calf' or something like that?
She keeps licking underneath her. and her teats look long now. SO EXCITED!!

Who would have thought -4 would feel so darn warm! I am excited to see the other side of 0 today too. Sounds like a nice day to watch a calf be born!
 
We need pics when she has it!! And maybe even pics of the birth since its your first calf!!
