No chicken poop, grass clippings, kitchen scraps, sticks, leaves?

Compost was one of the things I could hardly contain my excitement for my gardens when I got chickens.

My front yard was sand until I hauled in topsoil. Now it's a mass of weeds.

It is morning and no one seems to be fully functioning yet. Even as I come ever closer to the century mark I am still an early riser. Up with the chickens as the old saying goes.
It does help that I have developed the habit of not indulging in alcoholic revelry. That type of behavior is for the young and foolish or those with bad habits.
My hens are taking a break from egg production for the most part and the pullets have not started quite yet. Soon I believe.
How many in this group feed some whole grain to their birds and what type ? I feed some to mine just because they enjoy it and is entertaining to them. This is as close to coddling as I get.
