My super sweet Swedish flower Rooster. I was really hoping he would be a she. Oh well I love him anyway. He was a day old hatchling I got with a pair of olive eggers. Right away he knew his name and comes when I call him.View attachment 2198362View attachment 2198363View attachment 2198364

Does anyone have pictures of chicks that are crested for Swedish Flower Hens? I just hatched 6 and five are certainly going to be crested but am hoping they aren't showing some crossing from another breed.

The rooster is crested. I will post pictures later today, just hoping to get some responses while I am at work. Thanks.

First picture is of the rooster (crested) and you can see some of the hens behind him. The second 2 pictures are the chicks, notice the head poof (for lack of a better word). Some also have darker legs and beaks. To my knowledge they are pure swedish. What do you think?

he's a handsome chap! Yes the 'poof' is a crest.
Are grey legs common for SFH? I had one with dark spots on its legs, but the rest of mine have/had yellow or colourless legs.

I'm not very experienced but I do have a month old swedish flower pair. And #2 #6 #8 look like pullets compared to mine. #7 I can't see its comb. I'm curious to hear from the experts. Such beautiful colors!
